Here is the photo page for the Swedish Curling tour of 2007.  Paul needs a weeks rest after this one, he and Alan both needed therapy sessions on the Sunday/Monday. Paul can honestly say it has been "one of the most fun tours ever, I never stopped laughing!"  Now is that a show of how much fun it was or, is he laughing at the curling skills?  we will never know.

arrival to Braehead arena in Glasgow area, here is the Mayor Lennart cutting the tape, officially opening the place! I had only been with them an hour and they start off doing "official openings"!
Braehead curling, steady as you go now lads - and lady.  Notice how we placed them near no one else and right at the edge of the rink ...
and so to Perth rink. a nice welcome to Cecilia by the boys, but is she all that happy? over to you ...
sorry Cameron, its a Swedish Mayor thing!

A pal of Paul's get a new tie, courtesy of Sweden. This is the bar in Dewars Rink Perth

Alan Hannah gives some coaching to our pals from Sweden, but what is going on here? are they plotting against him?  No I think they are thinking "we'll show him a thing or two about Swedish curling"

Well, Alan did say "there were some things there I have never seen before" say no more.

more scenes of curling mayhem!  Time for some trick shots by the Scots to amaze our friends...
oh no it's the wild bunch!
the sign said it all! although Paul did not curl, it was still a good Swedish Scottish match up!
kilty curlers in Perth kilty curlers in Perth, on with the kilts and on with the curling
line up please on the ice, a real curler (Alan) and our friends who just happened to be there! Nice socks guys
aye cry you will Claes, it's hard enough watching from the sidelines, never mind playing with these maniacs!

I did overhear others saying what he was thinking "I can't watch this".

is there any need for a caption here?  Mr Mayor plays brush guitar, lets go the pub and leave him to it!
aye, now and again we did eat!  This is the Foundry night in Perth, nice bow ties guys ... waiting for the food whilst shoving down a drink or three! did they mind a wee wait for beers? what do you think ...
sorry Gordine, wasn't my fault you got floor duty tonight, they are ok really, just that they seem to like you. Notice Liz kept out of the way ...
and so to Edradour distillery, once again we have to open the place!
Edradour distillery, sampling at the bar BEFORE the tour! Ulf has found his drink at last ...
in Christies on Saturday - er, what is going on here? Our Alan swapping arm drinkies with the mad Ulf!!!  He was great fun and boy can he put them away! oh aye and he tried very hard to chat up the lovely two young ladies at the bar
Queens View with the gang on Saturday, Claes is looking just too comfortable in his kilt eh!
notice (if you can) the bottle of whisky on the top shelf ... there is a story to this

We have had enough, some kilted curlers struggling to get off the ice!  Perth will never be the same again! Mind Alan keeping away from them, dinna blame you Alan.
