9 June ARRIVE GLASGOW, stay here first night to recoup from flight. Overnight at Hilton  10 June Collect rental car, head north to Loch Lomond and the Argyll forest, driving through the mountain pass "rest and be thankful", arriving at Inveraray, where you spend the next two nights at the George Hotel apartments; Postmasters House,  fully cooked breakfast included here. Superb scenery all day en route, lochs & glens.

11 June  all day exploring the surrounding areas, including a step back in time 5000 years, see, feel and touch these ancient monuments; standing stones, burial cairns, castles etc. In the afternoon take a drive over the Atlantic, to enjoy a wee drink/food in a unique inn. Then on to Oban, HQ for Scottish seafood. Returning to Inveraray overnight once again.

12 June Driving through yet more stunning scenery to Glencoe, Loch Ness and ending the day at Inverness. A great day of sightseeing, lochs, castles, scenery to die for - literally!  13 June a drive south today, stops available en route, see tour notes, perhaps stop at St Andrews. Overnight Edinburgh Hilton.

14 June all day in Edinburgh. Staying in the city centre, no car is needed here, this is a walking city, so much to see and do. Your accommodation is Hilton Caledonian.   GOLF; perhaps Edinburgh, Perth or near Glencoe, west coast? We have golf courses all over Scotland for your selection.

FLY TO DUBLIN, IRELAND

15 June depart Edinburgh for Dublin at 12.30, you are staying at Hilton.  16 June again all day in Dublin, overnight here.   17 June collect rental car and drive to Galway, stopping off at TULLAMORE. Staying overnight at Abbeyglen Castle in Clifden.

18 June  all day to explore Connemara and area, overnight once again at the castle.  19 June  driving to the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Bunratty, ending the day at Tralee, Ballyseede Castle hotel, dating back to the 1590’s. Wonderfully transformed into a hotel.

20 June driving round the Ring of Kerry or Dingle Peninsula, overnight Ballyseede.   21 June  a day exploring Cork, Cobh, Midleton, Rock of Cashel, ending your day at Kilkenny.    22 June  all day exploring the local area, or maybe a round of golf! 23 June Departure and a restful drive to Dublin airport, staying overnight at the Hilton.  24 June homeward flight from Dublin.
