SAMPLE GOLF ITINERARY

THIS IS A TOUR FOR A GROUP OF FOUR GOLFERS, we would like to now offer this to everyone!  Pay no attention to dates as we can offer this tour all year round.

DAY 1 arrive at Glasgow airport (am) to be met by our agent/staff member. Transfer to car rental pick up and self drive to AYR. Staying in 4 star guest house accommodation on bed and breakfast basis. Afternoon – play round on Prestwick course. O/N Ayr.
DAY 2 golf at: Royal Troon and Portland courses, with lunch included. O/N Ayr bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 3 golf at Western Gailes. Free afternoon. O/N Ayr bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 4 Play Gailes course and free time. O/N Ayr bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 5 transfer to Turnberry Resort Hotel. Round of golf (am) on Ailsa course, lunch included, then golf on Kintyre course. Dinner bed and breakfast at hotel.
DAY 6 transfer to Machrihanish, afternoon golf. O/N guest house adjacent to course. Bed and breakfast basis. Route to Machrihanish? We have allowed for a route via ferries. By far the speediest route and will involve a ferry from Ardrossan to Arran (Lochranza), from there to Claonaig which is an hour max from accommodation and course. Same in reverse for return route. Play local course. Overnight here.
DAY 7 transfer to Edinburgh and enjoy sightseeing en route and free time in the Scottish capital. Overnight in Edinburgh bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 8 drive to North Berwick for golf. Remainder of the day either at course or relaxing/sightseeing in Edinburgh. Overnight Edinburgh bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 9return rental car and depart from Glasgow (departure time tba)

3 DAY TOUR EAST SCOTLAND:

Day 1: Arrive Scotland and be met by our representative. Transfer to the Marine Hotel at Troon that will be your base for the first three nights. No golf today unless this 3 day tour is a part of a larger tour plan. Day 2: Play Prestwick Old Course, venue of the first British Open in 1860, this links is a classic example of a Scottish course. Day 3: Turnberry is the course today. Accommodation locally in Troon area, minimum 3 star, 4 and 5 available. This package includes: 2 rounds of golf, accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis and car rental. Each tour receives fully bound tour notes.
 

2 NIGHT HIGHLAND PACKAGE

Day 1: from your hotel, Inverness, play Nairn (above right) this afternoon, a championship links used for the 1999 Walker Cup match. Day 2: Play Royal Dornoch (above left), one of the finest Non-Open Championship courses in Scotland, a favourite with many of the world's top players, undulating fairways and green tucked away in natural hollows. Package includes: two nights 4 star hotel accommodation and two rounds of golf, transfers to courses. Ideal to add to any vacation or other golf package.

THREE DAY EDINBURGH TOUR
 

Day 1: Arrive Scotland to Edinburgh airport. Transfer to your hotel, North Berwick. Day 2: Play Gullane No.1 - a magnificent course used for British Open qualifying, typical windy conditions to be experienced on this Scottish links. Day 3: Play the famous North Berwick Links Course., steeped in history and used for national tournaments. Package includes: 3 nights accommodation (3 star), 2 rounds of golf and transfers.  Ideal to add to any vacation or other golf package.

6 DAY TOUR SCOTTISH EAST COAST

Day 1. Arrival at Edinburgh/Glasgow Airport, transport pick-up and travel to preferred accommodation Aberdeen. Self drive or driver provided options. Day 2. This morning: Royal Aberdeen Golf Course (above left), the 6th oldest established golf club in the world and gaining it's Royal patronage in 1903 from King Edward 7th. Return to hotel. Day 3. golf at Cruden Bay Golf Club (above right), recently voted into the top 20 of Scotland's golf courses by Scottish golfers. Transfers for driver tour or self drive otherwise. Return to Aberdeen hotel. Day 4. Travelling north a round of golf at Nairn. As a part of the day we will include a whisky distillery visit. Overnight at Inverness 4 star hotel. Day 5. make the hour journey to Royal Dornoch, a fantastic setting and challenge. Voted amongst the top 10 in a Scottish golfer's poll of courses in Scotland. Return to Inverness. Day 6. drive south to hotel at your exit airport, overnight either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Option of flying from Inverness airport available. Day 7. transfer to airport, return rental transport and check-in for flight home. Optional sightseeing on this tour if taken with driver.
