gathering photos ... well, no one else has
made an effort to caption or yap aboot these photos
- so I will. left; at the castle on
Saturday, the fight begins! right; Liz in her
natural habitat! People management is what Liz does
best, here she is seen in her full flow, a drink and
mouth open yappin away, looking cool and relaxed as
ever. The Lizzie bird in natural surroundings
in full flight!

Beer & Whisky on Mull ...
above, this was our friendly McLean from Tobermory
Brewery giving us a great insight into the local
beers and the special Maclean brew made for the
gathering, thanks for the free beers! We
enjoyed them.
On the way to Staffa ... again we see oor Lizzie
drink in hand, why is that always the case methinks?
The ferry to Iona in the background whilst our
chartered boat chugs away to Staffa. See how
most are in jackets and jumpers, oor Liz is used to
our baking hot Scottish weather and dresses
accordingly! Below, och come on folks, it was
not that cold! Bob looks like he is heading to
the north pole. Sitting doon Bob has a great wee
chin strap holding on his cap, very novel way to do
things Bob!
On the way to Staffa

Nice headgear! Left, this was taken at Smoo
Cave just after the cave visit and picnic time.
See you Jimmie!

Paul, Michelle, Liz and Matt pulling pints at
MacGregors Roadhouse, courtesy our pal of Billy.
"Who's round is it" I asked Billy, och go and do it
y'self then! came his reply, so we did, all of us!
Me (Paul) in my black shirt and red face (Staffa and
Iona did that to me, see, told you it was hot!),
Michelle standing in a hole, Liz - a natural bar
girlie, and Matt, "I could get used to this".

The wee man at it again! Chrissy and Brian
thinking "wish he would buzz off wit that dirk
(duck)" while right; is it Johnny Cash? Bert
Weeden? nope, it's country boy Birkbeck!
Below, some of the tour folks stopped on a while
longer to tour self drive style, arranged by Liz and
Paul. We had 8 of you meet up in Perth for
munchies and drinks, whisky was popular!

Shown
left and below; Saturday night in Perth at
Paul's local pub, The Foundry. Clarence &
Bobbye Greek and the bunch of McCanns, Kathy
Smith group in tow. Paul needed help with
this wild bunch of Tennesseans (sorry to the
Texan lady here), wild was the right word to
use, noisy? erm, maybe. so Liz gave a
helping hand to Paul, she works at the pub
and is a good pal of Paul's. Food was taken
in aplenty here, as were the drinks!
Top - Liz sharing a joke with them all, too
much for Kathy. Below left, smile please!
Right, Paul's adopted dad and mum with Liz,
his adopted daughter! Paul took these by the
way, he's not hiding! |
