Clontarf Irish Whiskey. An Irish wake means making waves and an Irish jig has more knee than knee socks. And when you hear somebody say "Kiss me, I'm Irish," you'd better pucker up. The word “whiskey” originates from the ancient Gaelic term “uisce beatha” (pronounced ISH-keh BA-ha”), meaning “water of life”. The Emerald Isle has become synonymous with whiskey for many reasons, including its role as home to the oldest licensed distillery in the world. In the 1960s, Mark Edwin Andrews, an American with strong ties to Ireland, began buying casks of fine pot still whiskey from the top distilleries in Ireland. He aged them and bottled them under the Knappogue Castle label, named after the castle in Ireland that he owned. Celtic Crossing is a truly unique liqueur with a taste all its own. Although its recipe is a closely guarded secret, we can tell you that Celtic Crossing is a blend of the finest Irish whiskey, fine French Cognac, and a hint of honey.  WHISKEY ANNOUNCED SOON
