4 day tour including Islay  with optional add on dates

This 4 day specialist whisky tour takes you to the “Queen of the Isles” and the Whisky Coast. Islay is home to 8 of Scotland’s finest malt whisky distilleries Lagavulin, Laphroaig, Bowmore, Bunnahabhain, Bruichladdich, Ardbeg, Caol Ila and Kilchoman. For the whisky enthusiast this tour will give you an in depth knowledge and even better - you won’t need to drive anywhere yourself! The tour starts and ends in either Glasgow or Edinburgh on the dates shown. Distilleries we will visit include; Springbank, Kilchoman, Bruichladdich, Ardbeg (with photo stops at Laphroaig and Lagavulin) and Bowmore. 2009 Departure Dates: 26th June, 24th July, 21st August and 21st September.  Please contact; whisky@mcleanscotland.com

OPTIONS AVAILABLE ON THIS TOUR;  OPTION A; we can add dates on to the beginning and/or end of this tour in Edinburgh and Glasgow (both if you wish). In Edinburgh we can also invite you to our private whisky club.  OPTION B; again, we can customise this trip to make it even more special, by departing the tour on day 4 in Oban. Yet another excellent distillery lies here. We can add dates overnight here to include the distillery and a full day visit to the Isle of Mull.
